HAIR (for all disciplines) Hair must be tied up off neck and face. For ballet classes,
hair must be worn in a securely pinned bun. Pre-schoolers
may wear hair in pony-tails or braids.
BALLET (Girls Attire)
Pre-Schoolers and Pre-Primary
Light pink bodysuit, socks or tights, pink ballet slippers
with elastics, dance skirt optional.
Primary
Pink regulation bodysuit, plain white ankle socks, matching
exam voile skirt, pink ballet slippers with elastics. Pink
ballet tights may be worn in winter.
Grade One and Two
Pale blue regulation bodysuit with matching elastic
belt, pink tights, pink ballet slippers with elastics,
character
shoes, character skirt.
Grade Three, Four and Five
Navy blue bodysuit, with matching elastic
belt, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, character shoes
and a character skirt.
Grade Six, Seven and Eight
Solid coloured bodysuit of any colour in a classic style,
with matching chiffon circle skirt, ballet pink tights,
pink ballet slippers, character skirt and character shoes.
Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate Advanced Foundation,
Advanced 1 and 2 (Vocational Levels)
Black or navy blue bodysuit, (camisole or tank style)
pink tights, soft pointe shoes and pointe shoes. Soft
pink ballet slippers are acceptable for Intermediate Foundation
instead of soft pointes.
JAZZ
/ TAP / LYRICAL / MODERN
Bodysuit, unitard or tank top and stretch pants
of any colour, tights or socks, black jazz shoes or dance
sneakers,
or tap shoes as appropriate, bare feet or half soles
for modern.
HIP
HOP / MUSICAL THEATRE
Lightweight, unrestrictive clothing, clean non-marking
sneakers or dance sneakers. No jeans.
TEEN / ADULT BALLET
Solid coloured bodysuit of any colour, pink tights,
soft pink ballet slippers with either elastics or ribbons,
optional dance skirt.
BOYS BALLET ATTIRE
Pre-Primary - Grade Two
White t-shirt, navy blue shorts, white socks, white
ballet slippers with elastics.
Grade Three and Up
White short sleeve bodysuit, navy blue cotton lycra
tights, white socks, white ballet slippers with elastics.
